Not many agencies go in Global Agenda's hall of records as competitors, and aside from the fact that the first season's 'zone winners' were a bunch of guys who went afk for two weeks after what many in the GA community griped was an exploit, The | FinalStand ran on its own playerbase and tactics and ended up being more than just significant AvA competition.
So aside from reaching a new standards of management, playership, agenda and size The | FinalStand's farming leaderboard scores too. Here's one of our agency's shots of our teams donned with the first round of helmets from the Global Agenda's first Weekend Season.

Special thanks to everyone who's a part of our little community for more than putting us on the map. Now that the AvA system's been flushed and tweaked out, the GA playerbase can be sure we'll be rocking our gangster hats and into the new season.

BkB is BACK

Boogaloo's old agency the Blitzkrieg Boyars has been RESURRECTED and is now back in action.
Hearkening from days even before Global Agenda 1.0, BkB has been one of the earliest in-game agencies known for featuring cool-headed individuals and competitive game-play. Unfortunately, it's activity discontinued after Boogaloo had to ship overseas to Iraq. However, as they're not active and many of The | FinalStand's agents themselves originated in BkB, and since Boogaloo has always been notorious in GA for his well rounded FPS play and political savvyness:
We've become privileged to announce that the BkB agency is also now The | BkB.
That's right. Featuring one of the most prominent mix's of players yet, and so soon after the close of AvA season 2 The | Alliance finds itself strengthened by BkB's revival and helpful addition to The | Alliance. As agency leaders Cyrre and Boogaloo are both guys hellbent on bringing the GG to a fight and then e-shaking hands, here's to season 3 is looking to feature our sportiest AvA yet.

TFS Acquires a Golden Vandal!

A golden vandal, one of the limited, old-school prizes for winning an AvA map pre-1.3 - an in-game item (not at all available for production) has found its way into the inventory of The | FinalStand.
Rumors of Dome City have it that one of the dead legends of the game resurrected and, in an effort to make amends to a right gone wrong, gifted the The | FinalStand with the precious atrocity. Mystics of the Sonarian Dessert hold to their own school of thought, maintaining that after one of Cyrre’s teeth was knocked out during a scrim with Forge, that the GA tooth-fairy left it under his mattress. Still others remain convinced instead that TFS obtained the bright, shiny, golden vandal from negotiating the deep evil UnderDome Black market for a mere 1.25 million credits. This final rumor gets even more elaborate, as those determined to argue this theory of Golden-Vandal-Acquirage also hold that the seller, realizing the vanity of his sale, immediately demanded and pleaded to buy the exact same vandal back for 2 mil, 4 mini-nukes, 3 avenger dropships, and 3 regular vandals (to which Cyrre promptly said, “no-thanks.”)
So, while The | FinalStand remains convinced that they'll never have to pull this baby out; The | GoldenVandal does remain in TFS’s stash as a symbol of true awesomeness, as well as the fact that The | FinalStand can now proudly sing the song : “If I had a golden Vandal . . . ”

THE Alliance Adapts With New 1.3 AvA Structure

Not only has our website changed, patch 1.3's out and we are heading a new budding coalition of over 300 active members, with the strongest unity among agency chiefs yet. The | Final Stand is rerolling it's AvA structure to accomodate the new changes with the goal of being able to better assemble strike forces on the fly!
For agents who're AvA interested be sure to check out the latest in the AvA forums for official class roles as well as the summation thread available to all registered members.

While many alliance's have found it to be one of the most uneventful weeks in-game, The | FinalStand has undergone a few mighty fine events conducive towards the growth of one of the most kickass alliances, evar.
1) We beat JL. By shooting them.
2) Our first (and anticipatedly last) round of drama inspired by one player's inability to take critcism lead many to OMFGSTFU*facepalm*/wrist/murder
3) Some fresh new faces! Despite our closing many of our fronts on recruitment, we're still streaming in fresh talent and cool players.
4) Some due rank adjustments have been made, congratulations to all new officers!
